“I had an extremely disappointing experience with fäm Properties, specifically while dealing with the agent, Kymbat Ziyanova. During the initial viewing, we noticed that the property’s access cards were not working due to a malfunction with the door access panel. I specifically asked the agent to make sure this issue was resolved before my move-in date. On the day of the move-in, I contacted her to collect the keys and complete the property handover. Instead of meeting me at the property, she asked me to meet her in another building nearby simply to sign the handover document. After signing, I went to the apartment with all my belongings, only to discover that the keys provided did not open the property either. The building security team genuinely tried to help me gain access and resolve the issue, but unfortunately, despite their efforts, they were unable to do so. I tried calling the agent several times but received no response. I also sent messages explaining that I was unable to enter the apartment, which were read but left unanswered. Attempts to contact the property management team were also unsuccessful. I was effectively left outside the property on my move-in day with all my belongings and no way to access the apartment. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that the malfunction with the door access panel had already been identified during the viewing and specifically raised before the move-in date. The complete lack of responsibility, communication, follow-up, and empathy was unacceptable. After living in Dubai for years and dealing with different real estate companies and agents, this has been by far one of the worst property handover experiences I have had.”
